Kringle Holiday Village was founded in 2021 as an opportunity for two organizations to join together to do good in the community. The Rotary Club of Greenville, known for their long tenure in the communities they serve, as "People of Action" and the Greenville Drive, know for their dedication to the Upstate area and the "Front Porch" of the community, bonded over the idea of creating a fun, exciting, and long-lasting holiday event for everyone. They wanted families, friends, neighbors, everyone to be able to join together in celebrating the holidays, enjoying each other's company, meeting new friends at the Biergarten, all while enjoying great food, drink, and entertainment, and raising money for important initiatives throughout the community.
Proceeds from the event benefit Rotary Charities, a philanthropic arm of Rotary Club of Greenville. This year's beneficiaries include, but are not limited to, Alexander Elementary School, a Rotary youth leadership program called RYLA, the Greenville County Teacher of the Year Program, the Rotary Family Literacy Partnership, Service above Self college scholarships, and other education-related programs.

If you are looking to grow your network, serve your community and have fun, our club is for you. We meet at the Westin Poinsett, Downtown Greenville on the second and fourth Tuesday of every month at 12:00.
"Rotarians are community-minded people of action," noted Greenville Rotary Club Past President Jane Dyer, who developed the event concept. "We are motivated to make a difference in the areas where we live and work, and we believe this Kringle Holiday vision will do just that, both in terms of raising funds to support critical local needs and in helping our neighbors make happy and lasting holiday memories. As sad as we were to see Roper Mountain Lights go, we are even more excited to partner with the Greenville Drive and Fluor Field as the ideal partner for Greenville's newest holiday tradition."
